AD Web revolves around managing users in an easier way. The grid view with search bar gives you easy way to locate users and manage user objects including password reset, unlock user, enable/disable users, move from OU to another, assign/un-assign with groups and anything you like. You can create new user with any custom UPN as you wish.
Manage Multiple AD Domains
Manage unlimited Active Directory Domains at one interface. Adding, editing or deleting a domain is very easier. You can also switch the Primary domain between any domains at any time. When adding domain you can decide which group to act as Portal admin and which group to act as OU Admin using the dropdown provided.
Explorer View
The Explorer Tree View lets you have a clear look of your multiple domains and OUs belong to them that is just similar to how Active Directory management console looks. In addition, the right panel separates the Users, Groups and OUs in Tabbed interface which gives you more clear view of the objects inside each OU.
Password Reset by Admin
You can use to Reset User password in 3 ways. One is random which is not even visible to administrator, 2nd one is manual and 3rd one is Sending Reset link by email to user. All 3 types can set to notify by email as well Force to Reset on 1st login. You can also use all these types during Bulk Reset of Password.
Unlock Users
The users with locked status will be displayed on Grid where admin can unlock them by simply clicking a button. An email can also be sent to user intimating their status upon unlocking.
Search
An intuitive full text search feature let you find any objects quickly as a flash. You can find users, groups and OU using any attribute around it. For example, you can find an user using SAMName, UPN, Display name or even Email.
Admin Roles
if you are hosting tenants and you want to give access to your tenant/client admins to manage their users or if you want to give access to your department admins then it is super easy. We have Roles like super admin, portal admin and OU admin which can be mapped with specific groups. And these admin rights can be restricted from the super admin portal. For example if you don’t want to allow your OU Admins to manage groups or you want to allow your OU admin only to View Groups it is possible. The role access configuration is very flexible so you can safely provide access to other admins.
Email Templates
Set your email delivery via SMTP, Xauth using Office 365 or Google Oauth as you wish. You can also customize all email templates including new user creation, forgot password reset, User unlocked email etc. This is a HTML editor with short code features so you can flexibly design your email templates as your own.
Portal Branding
The AD Web portal can be branded on your own with using existing themes as well custom themes. Each custom theme can be fixed for specific URLs so users land into those URLs will see specific branding to that URL. This feature is called URL branding which is very efficient when you want to provide specific branding to your clients or departments are so. The branding options are just easy that anyone can work with. And when you are little familiar with CSS then you can do more.
Forgot Password by User
This is an optional feature which you can enable/disable from admin. You can link to this module from anywhere (Ex: in your RD web or Citrix login page). User lands to this page and validates his credential using his email id and username. There is an option to use UPN as email id. If both are correct according to AD then he will be sent an email with a link for resetting his password. The link will expire in set (ex: 60) minutes, also the link can be used only once. User can use the link to reset his password without need of the old password. He will then be sent an email confirming his password reset.
User Self Service Portal
AD Web can be used as Self Service portal for normal users where user can login and edit his Active Directory profile as well do a Password Reset. Along with the Forgot Password feature a part of AD Web can be utilized as a Self Service portal for non-admin users thus administrative work around with Active Directory will be reduced massively. And all these settings are configurable so you decide what users can do and not.
Password Expiration Reminders
You can set notification reminders of password expiration so your users won’t miss it. Setup the reminder for only once or multiple like 30 days before, 20 days before, 1 day before or whatever you want it to be. You can also set notifications for expired password, the same as the expiration notification you can set it like 1 day after, 3 days after, 5 days after and so. And both Email template as well the settings can be overridden on domain based. This feature helps you to overcome the situation of users missing their password resets periodically and thus it avoids unnecessary interactions between administrator/help desk and users related to password reset.

Access
in localhost
Once installed you can run Ad Web in http://localhost:6060 which you can set behind a reverse proxy or add public endpoints directly from the Admin >> Settings menu.
Activate
License
At the end of setup screen you will be asked to activate your product. Use the Product Key received in your email along with your email id used to purchase and that's it. You can always deactivate your license and use the Key in another instance or so. You can manage your activation at Admin >> Activation menu.

What is the server and OS requirement to run AD Web?
You can run it from Windows XP to Windows Server. It is self-hosted web server hence you don’t need any specific server components to run License Web. A minimal hardware is fine.
How many instances/servers I can install AD Web?
One license is per one instance. If you need more instances you need more licenses.
How to activate the product?
When you purchase or order a trial, you will receive your product key by email. You just need that key and the email id you used to purchase AD Web. You can simply activate the AD Web product key from Admin/License page.
Can I deactivate and use the same license in another system/server?
Yes, you have option to deactivate at Admin >> Activation page where you first need to deactivate the license. And then you can use the same product key in another system/server as you wish.
How many AD Domains I can integrate with AD Web single license?
You can integrate unlimited AD Domains into one single instance. There is no limit for it.
Can I create UPN with custom domain suffix?
Yes, you can even use the generic email ids (ex: @gmail.com) as your UPN. You don’t need to do any additional settings for it.
How does the Forgot Password feature works?
The user will receive any email with a reset password link which he can use to reset the new password. You can use UPN as email or the real email field of the AD. It is configurable within AD Web interface.
How does AD Web useful for General Users?
The normal users can use it to see their profile, edit their profile or reset his password. He will be displayed with some useful information such as Last Logged in, Password Expiring days etc.
What is OU Admin and how does it works?
You can make an admin group (Ex: Company-Admins) and map one or 2 users from each OU into that group. If you map this group as OU Admin in AD Web then those users can manage other co-users resides on that OU. It is useful when you want your clients to manage their users or when you want to set an admin user for each department, or branches within that department itself.
What is Portal Admin and how does it works?
Portal admin is a role who can manage that particular domain. He has right to manage all features on that particular Active Directory domain. However this role access is configurable in Admin backend where admin can enable/disable the permissions. It is useful when you manage multiple Active Directory domains within AD Web.
Do AD Web Email Templates are customizable?
Yes, all email templates are customizable from AD Web Admin interface. You also have short code options for example place {Sam-Name} or {Display-Name} or {UPN} in the welcome header of the email.
Is Group Policy Management available within the AD Web interface?
No, AD Web portal is only to manage AD Users, Groups and OUs. It revolves all around the user management along with Groups and OUs.
